Milla Jovovich: Daughter Changed My Priorities

Milla Jovovixh with daughter EverMilla Jovovich, the “Resident Evil” star, has no worries about herself since she became a mother.

The actress has a three-year-old daughter Ever with husband Paul W. S. Anderson.

Jovovich admits her priorities have completely altered now her focus is entirely on her little daughter.

She said: “Being a mother changes everything. Your first concern is your child over your own life, career or all your insecurities. All of that is in the distance. What could be worse than having your baby get sick? There is nothing worse than worrying about her if she falls. As long as she’s OK then everything else in my life is so easy.”

Jovovich, 34, loves to play make-believe games with Ever, but admits she is tired of her daughter always casting her as the evil figure in their fantasy productions.

She revealed to the Chicago Sun-Times newspaper: “I’m always the wicked stepmother or the naughty lady when we play. She’s Ariel or Sleeping Beauty and I’m the one with the big fake mole on my chin, or the bad fairy.”

Milla also told about her struggle to lose the 70lbs she gained during pregnancy.

She added: “It took a year to put on that weight and a year to take it off. Basically, I lost 10 pounds a month for four months. Since I was around 200 pounds when I gave birth, losing 40 pounds was just a drop in the ocean. I knew after the 40 that I really had to discipline myself or this was the new me.

However, the weight didn’t slip off quickly. It took me another eight months to get it all off.”
